2012 is going to be an exciting year for Jet-Stream. We are signing up new partnerships, we won pitches to build large CDNs, we keep investing in our premium CDN technology, we are moving to a new and larger office, we are hiring and we are getting a lot of traction for our consulting and CDN academy services...
New partnerships
In the past two weeks Jet-Stream announced new partnerships with Xstream for OVP services and Saguna for mobile CDN optimization. Xstream is a great company from Denmark that has better knowledge and more experience than generic OVP players. The joint ideas around mobile CDNs between Saguna and Jet-Stream go much further than the ideas we have seen around so far. Expect Jet-Stream to announce new partnerships in the upcoming months!
New licensed CDN projects
Although we can't share many details because of NDAs, Jet-Stream has won several pitches against the usual suspects in the relatively young CDN licensing industry. Besides being selected as the CDN technology vendor for one of the largest telecom operators in the world, Jet-Stream is also selected (in a constellation of partnerships) to build a +1Tbps(!) premium media delivery CDN. According to our new customers, we clearly have the edge in experience, commercially proven deployments and we offer a better future proof technology approach. We are very excited that these orders strengthen our position as the thought and technology leader in licensed CDNs. As soon as we can go public with more information, we will.
New CDN technologies
Jet-Stream recently released a new version of our overlay CDN management technology, introducing even more more intelligent content distribution, request routing and management features. We introduced many enhancements to the standard HTTP adaptive streaming technologies which give our solution a performance and manageability edge over standard vendors. Expect Jet-Stream to announce many new and disruptive features this year.

New office
Jet-Stream is doubling (optionally) tripling our office space. Our address stays the same, we are moving to a new floor in the Mediacentrale building.
CDN academy
Existing customers and partners rely on Jet-Streams unmatched +8 years experience in commercializing, designing, deploying and operating CDNs. Existing CDN training tracks in the market were so bad that they reached out to us. Jet-Stream decided to turn our trainings and consulting services into a CDN academy as a commercial service, which quickly is becoming very popular among broadcasters, system integrators and telecom operators. Various new customers are now following Jet-Stream CDN crash courses where they are trained about the CDN industry, the strenghts and weaknesses of the industry players, how to commercialize a CDN, and hands-on CDN deployments in a few days time.
